We acknowledge our success is inspired by our people, and continually strive towards being the best company to work for.As a Cloud Account Director, you will be responsible for enabling Virtual1’s reseller and their customers to define, develop, and deploy their next-generation cloud strategiesWhat you’ll be responsible for:Develop and drive a successful cloud strategy proposition alongside the Head of Cloud and the wider virtual teamWork with relationship owners and employ thought leadership to drive loyalty and winning propositions.Work with channel sales account teams to build account strategies and drive the overall cloud strategy within a defined set of accountsGuide the customer from initially adopting virtualization to a private and hybrid cloud using Virtual1 technologies and servicesBuild strategic relationships with C-level executives and key business leaders to promote Virtual1 portfolio of private cloud solutions through proofs-of-concept and pilotsWork alongside carrier, service provider and reseller sales teams to ensure Virtual1 cloud products are used in both pre-staging and production environments and to also become the first choice for hybrid cloud for our most strategic customersSkills RequiredBackground selling complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain within channel and wholesale8+ years of solutions sales experience, with 4+ of those years specifically focused on enterprise virtualization and wider cloud platformsTrack record of working closely with customers to deliver solutions that exceed their technical and business expectationsBroad technical experience with enterprise virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere,)Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firmsSolution-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services
