Look no further...Work as a Senior/Principal data scientist, responsible for supporting clinical trials and healthcare teams by applying high quality data science approaches whilst adhering to deliverable timelines. Acting as lead data applying high quality data science approaches whilst adhering to deliverable timelines. Acting as lead data scientist within a team environment and being responsible for the data science aspects of a project and effective collaboration with other functions and clients as required.ResponsibilitiesTranslate clinical questions into analytical problems through collaborations with research teams to design, conduct, interpret and report an analysisEffectively collect and document client requirementsIdentify, access and utilise the appropriate data to support a question such as clinical data, observational data, healthcare dataProvide guidance and expertise to other data science team members on data availability, access and useExpertise in the robust, secure extraction and integration of different data types and documentation of the approaches for the teamLead the delivery of practical, high-quality solutions through the application of visualisation, analytical, machine learning and artificial intelligence techniquesData science systems and process owner (for example R/RStudio), working closely with IT and quality assurance groups to ensure that they meet business and industry regulatory requirementsDocument, initiate and perform appropriate validation and/or QC for a projectMaintain a broad and deep understanding of quantitative research techniques, both current and emerging to better leverage appropriate data and share this with the data science teamWork alongside our director of data science to manage data science projects from proposal and contract discussions with clients to project deliveryLead, design and perform projects utilising machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms including model development, training, deployment, testing, refining and iteratingLead and train others in the application of machine learning and other data science analytical approachesIdentify opportunities for the application of data science within the industry and initiate research or client projects as appropriateDevelop and deliver company-wide training as and when requiredIdentify areas where new or improved processes are required and document, liaise with relevant stakeholders and gain approval for implementationResponsibility for creating robust processes to ensure any tools developed can be maintained in production and delivered to multiple clientsDefine and document best practices for data science programming and analysisCreate, review and update processes and SOPsTake responsibility for study compliance with SOPs and processesQualificationsEducated to PhD/Masters or bachelors degree in Data Science or a related disciplineExperience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industryFamiliarity with GCP and regulatory requirementsExperience of Real World Data (RWD)Please use the below link for job application and quicker response.
