Currently we have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a registered clinical psychologist to join our clients specialist Level 2 purpose-built neurorehabilitation facility, supporting up to 26 patients with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke, and spinal cord injury.

Salary: Up to £44,660 (FTE £55,825)

Position: Clinical Psychologist

Hours: Part Time, 30hrs

Setting: Neuro Rehab Adults

Location: York, YO10

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
• Complete assessment and clinical formulation of patients' presentation and treatment needs
• Provide evidence based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of the patients' presentation, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
• Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions
• Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are always adhered to and that risks are continuously assessed and managed
• Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and to ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring to psychological assessments and risk assessments
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers

For this role, we're looking for someone who has;

• HCPC registration
• BPS registration
• Doctorate in clinical psychology
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
