x2 Clinical Nurse Specialist (Palliative Care) - 1 Full time/1 Part time We have two vacancies for an experienced nurse to join our multi-professional hospital palliative care team. We are a large team of nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, counsellor and specialist administrators. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience of working with patients with a life limiting illness. Level 7 credit bearing awards including Independent Prescribing will be an advantage. However we will accept a candidate who is willing to complete the necessary qualifications. We are looking for staff that will work 4 or 5 days per week, including weekends and Bank holidays.Main duties of the job
To work across the trust as an expert in supportive and palliative care to enhance the quality of care provided to patients and families with these needs. To provide specialist interdisciplinary support and education to other health care professionals. To contribute to the development of the supportive and palliative services both locally and nationally. To participate in research and audit to contribute to the knowledge base for supportive and palliative care.
