Clinical Negligence Lawyer, London, 2+ PQE

We are currently recruiting for a junior lawyer with experience in clinical negligence to join a thriving in-house legal team at a renowned membership organisation in central London!
Role Overview:
Investigate and assist in both non-contentious and contentious claims within a varied workload, including providing advice, case preparation, and representing members in defence of clinical negligence cases at all stages.
Handle a diverse range of medical-related cases.
Work within a highly motivated, professional, and team-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Support the team on clinical negligence cases by attending meetings with members, arranging and attending conferences, and liaising with third-party solicitors, insurers, counsel, and medical experts.
Manage day-to-day operations of claims throughout all stages of litigation.
Draft Court Documents and file them appropriately.
Cultivate relationships with members, offering support throughout clinical negligence cases.
Draft various documents and correspondence, including witness statements, letters of instruction to counsel, and communications to medical experts.
Coordinate document retrieval, such as medical records and reports.
Conduct legal research to facilitate the team in providing concise and practical advice.
