Climax Studios was established nearly 30 years ago, we have an extensive history in developing all kinds of digital experiences across all formats, and we have won multiple awards along the way.We have a new state of the art studio located in the heart of the beautiful Albert Dock in the city centre of Liverpool and we are looking for onsite Senior / Lead programmers, ideally with experience in UE4 to join the team working on a new AAA, groundbreaking console game.Responsibilities:You will take ownership of the design and development of key game systemsRapidly gain in-depth knowledge of new technology and development practicesDevelop standard methodologies and effectively communicate these to other team members and disciplines.Bring technical expertise and experience to the challenges of game developmentEffectively profile and optimise game systemsMentoring junior members of the teamLeading and guiding key systems and areas of the game, inspiring teams and effectively communicating with clients when requiredQualifications / Experience:A degree in computer science or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years commercial games programming experience.Fresh fruit and snacksA friendly, focused, ambitious and relaxed working environmentOngoing training and development, with career progressionDiscount card for all the shopping centre storesGreat seafront location, a short walk from the rail station, bars, restaurants, coffee shopsGroup Private Medical Insurance provided by BUPAGroup Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeGroup Income ProtectionCompany Pension SchemeCycle To Work SchemeEye-Care VouchersBring your doggo to work!
