Client Service Manager - Loan Agency

M&G Trustee Company Limited (“MTCL”) offers a wide range of Trustee and Agency services in the capital markets space. No investment related activity is carried out.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong understanding of Loans/Loan Agency and Loans Administration to join a rapidly expanding organisation.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding and administration of new and existing transactions where MTCL acts as Loan Agent/Facility Agent. The role will also have some scope to carry out business development activity by originating new transactions that the Client Service Manager would then onboard and manage. This will be a hybrid client service/business origination role which suits a professional with previous relevant experience in managing Loan portfolios and an existing initial network of clients and who has an ambition to gain exposure to business development.Key Responsibilities for this role:Run and maintain a portfolio of loan agency deals ensuring a high level of service between both lenders and borrowersOnboard, set up and manage a deal from signing and completion, through to terminationReview Loan Agreements at an operational level -Calculate redemption figures manuallyProcess general Loan agency activities – drawdowns, rollovers, payments/prepayments, feesReview of conditions for drawdown/borrowers’ covenant/compliance informationRun the waterfall, produce report and instruct paymentsMaintain lender’s register and manage transfers between lenders/additional lenders under the facilityProcess waiver and consent requestsKey Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Solid experience in Loan Administration and relevant Corporate Trust Agency functionsUnderstanding of LMA loan agreements from an operational point of viewGood numerical and excel skillsAbility to model waterfalls is preferable but not essentialLoanIQ knowledge is preferable but not essentialA material part of the current portfolio is comprised of Project Finance Loans, previous experience in this sector is a great advantage but not essentialGood network of contacts in the corporate trust space and ambition to generate more opportunities and carry out an hybrid client services/business development roleAbility to think strategically and lead implementationVery well organised and strong attention to detailsAbility to work as part of a team, strong communication and presentation skills
