Job Summary:
The Client Manager will help contribute to revenue growth and customer engagement for the Workforce Development Trust (WDT) across its Consultancy and Research portfolio. Reporting to a Client Director, this position will work within a Business Development team to maximise sales potential, developing and implementing business plans, growing both the Skills for Justice and Skills for Health presence and customer base, and helping deliver key business development functions. Core responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Principal Client Director and Client Director with client management duties, including client liaison, invoicing and contract management.
Managing a portfolio of new/existing clients and identifying opportunities to design workforce solutions.
Leading and/or supporting the design and development of solution proposals.
Identifying new product development opportunities.
Assisting with the management of commercial procurement processes.
Leading and/or supporting competitive tender submissions.
Contributing to the development and delivery of marketing activity.
Driving growth through commissions.
Managing accounts and providing ad-hoc project management assistance on key projects.
To be successful, the Client Manager must be able to deliver business development through a relationship orientated customer service and client satisfaction lens. The Client Manager must be able to assimilate complex information and structure proposals that deliver impactful, and value led outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver against agreed annual sales and revenue targets and key performance indicators.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products / services from market competitors
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer/partner relationships • Introduce new opportunities and solutions to improve sales efficiency while collaborating internally with cross functional teams
Gather market and customer intelligence to assist in project planning & product development
Bring your expertise on lead generation and marketing to identify and win contracts
Develop accurate pipeline, sales, and revenue reports and a forecast for key stakeholders across the WDT group
