You will be responsible for driving revenue and developing client relationships, with a specific focus on client direct relationships outside the Top 100. You will work closely with the Print and Trading Lead to identify potential clients that can maximise revenue and also identify clients that can be nurtured into Top 100 clients in the future. Your focus will be on maintaining print revenue across the Hearst portfolio, encouraging the uptake of Digital display amongst your client base, and managing small creative partnerships.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Cultivate and manage client direct relationships outside the Top 100, with a keen eye on potential opportunities to develop these clients into Top 100 accounts in the future. Collaborate with the Print and Trading Lead to identify strategic growth prospects and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Focus on acquiring new clients and re-engaging lapsed clients for opportunities across the Hearst portfolio. Utilise your sales skills to identify client needs and propose compelling solutions that align with their marketing objectives. Identify key clients to focus attention on and learn to prioritise across broad client base. Take ownership of all Salesforce opportunities and effectively manage the sales pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting. Utilise Salesforce expertise to track and prioritise leads, ensuring that potential revenue opportunities are efficiently nurtured. Take responsibility for servicing all web enquiry opportunities that come through, delivering exceptional customer service and tailoring solutions to match client needs. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell clients into multiple solutions, such as digital advertising, programmatic offerings, partnerships, and events. Demonstrate the value of a multi-platform approach to clients and maximise revenue opportunities. Work diligently to close print issues across the Hearst portfolio, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded. Leverage competitor insights to maintain market share and identify opportunities for growth across all market activities. Represent Hearst at client events, press days, and external industry events. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and position Hearst as a leading media partner. ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in display advertising sales and client relationship management. Understanding of the print market and its dynamics, with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for efficient pipeline management and accurate revenue forecasting. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyse market data and competitor insights to inform sales strategies. Results-driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about chasing down print opportunities and driving revenue growth. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Media Planning and brand portfolios. WHAT WE OFFER
