Job Description
A leading US law firm are looking for a Client Development and Communications Coordinator to join their team for a
14-month FTC.
This role plays a pivotal role in supporting the London Client Development and Communications Senior Manager and collaborating with various teams within the Marketing Department – both in the UK and US. This unique and varied role encompasses marketing, client development, communications, public relations, and events. You will enable seamless coordination, engagement with firm resources, and high-quality execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
**This is a maternity cover contract position. The team ideally would like the successful candidate to join them in July 2024 to enable a handover with the current Coordinator**
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and project implementation support to the Senior Manager and other teams.
Assist in agenda planning, meetings, and follow-up actions to enhance productivity among partners.
Support business development through pitch material creation, presentations, and proposal preparation.
Collaborate with the London PR agency to drive the office's communications strategy.
Coordinate sponsorships and event planning activities.
Act as project coordinator for webinars, ensuring timely delivery of responsibilities.
Facilitate distribution of client alerts and maintain quality control.
Conduct research on competitors, clients, and markets.
Assist in lateral partner integration and business development opportunities.
Manage directories, surveys, and submission preparation.
Track and update communication and business development metrics.
Draft and edit content for the firm's website and intranet.
Process lawyer biographies and website updates.
Support firm-wide initiatives as required.
Education and Experience:
Preferably degree-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
Two or more years of marketing/business development experience, preferably in a professional services organisation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with InterAction, Vuture, and Ruby is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Comfortable interfacing with partners and exercising discretion.
Analytical with problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, with the capacity to work autonomously or within a team.
