This role sits within the Real Estate and Infrastructure Operations Team. Your responsibilities would include management of a team of direct reports. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all operational aspects of the Infrastructure fund(s) run efficiently, working with various internal and external stakeholders including the Investments Team. It will also have responsibility to the oversight of third party administrators across the Real Estate and Infrastructure product ranges.How you'll spend your time..• Control and check the Net Asset Value and unit pricing of a Real Assets Fund as produced by the outsourced Fund Administrator. To control and check annual income distributions and ensure all reporting provided from/to the Fund Administrator is completed within timescales as defined in the SLA.• Responsibility for monitoring the completion of all regulatory, tax and investor reporting deadlines including the production of Annual Financial Statements and Quarterly Investor reporting.• Working with Investment Teams to assist with the acquisition of Real Estate and Infrastructure Assets, including fund administrator and depositary liaison, setting up of intermediate SPV holding vehicles and facilitating the funding required for completion of such acquisitions.• Prime responsibility for the oversight co-ordination of Fund Administrators across multiple offshore locations. This will include chairing service review meetings, tracking all risk events and monitoring issues to closure, attending on-site annual due diligence visits and the co-ordination of associated due diligence documents.• Responsible for all aspects of personnel management including recruitment, training and development.• To be responsible for the internal controls of the team, ensuring that all key tasks for the various funds are reviewed and signed-off following a thorough and robust review.To be successful in this role you will have..• Fully Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA• Experience of managing a team• Sound knowledge of IFRS• Clear and concise communicator with colleagues at all levels• Self-starter, deadline driven and can work on own initiative• Prior experience in Real Asset Funds (e.g. Private Equity, Infrastructure/Renewable Funds, Private Credit/Debt or Real Estate) gained inhouse, with a third party fund administrator or as an external auditor.• Experience in project managing change related projects.• Prior experience in actively managing risk, process improvement and oversight.About Columbia Threadneedle InvestmentsWorking at Columbia Threadneedle Investments you'll find the promise we make to our clients is the same one we make to our employees: Your success is our priority.Here, you'll find growth and career opportunities across all of our businesses.
