Find out more at: the roleThis role is for a ClientAccount Manager in our Commercial department across our UK project portfolio. The role requires a strong understanding of commercial, operational & financial processes within the live events industry. You will take charge of strategising and costing potential projects whilst assessing feasibility/ demand, and liaising directly with key stakeholders and clients. Responsibilities Client facing role acting as the Far and Beyond representative across our project portfolio Create key relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal Far and Beyond departments Work closely with Head of Events, Logistics and Recruitment teams overseeing the accounts that you’re handing Work on and fulfil RFP’s and pitches for potential projects In line with the commercial strategy, reach out for prospective new business opportunities across the industry: Music, TV, Brand activation, Sports, Corporate, etc. Time tracking of your accounts, ensuring work is fulfilled within a critical path To assist with project costings & budgeting Travel within UK and abroad for site visits, meetings and potentially some onsite work (as needed) Lead on and contribute to pitch work for new and potential clients. This includes structuring wording and responses into company decks and response decks as well as building budgets and BOQs as required
Set & lead meetings, manage project plans and work to project timelines Manage multiple accounts in conjunction with each other Oversee creative pitch work and responses for new business Positively coordinate and align all departments across the project, in line with Head of Events; ensuring each department has the necessary knowledge of your account/ project Have strong creative and corporate writing skills, to be used across external documents such as client proposals
All work should be completed to a high standard and in line with Far and Beyond’s brand guidelines, utilising templates, logos and company fonts across all documentation. Reports into Head of Commercial, but may also take direction from the Managing Director and Leadership team (as well as the various Project Managers when working on project-based roles) As with all roles within the company, you will occasionally be required to fulfil other roles within projects as needed. For example, you may be asked to fulfil a role within artist liaison, accreditation, etc About you Minimum of two (2) years experience of working in event and/ or project management. Experience in running events or projects. A keen commercial eye and attention to detail. Excellent people skills, with the ability to talk to clients and stakeholders in a consultative manner and developing long-term relationships. Experience of writing and designing creative pitches and presentations Demonstrated experience in working within a commercial role, showcasing a track record of converting leads into successful partnerships within the events industry or a related field. A history of building and nurturing client relationships, highlighting the ability to anticipate and fulfil unique client needs while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, showcasing agility in addressing challenges and quickly adjusting strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think strategically, identify trends, and develop innovative approaches to navigate the Live Music Festivals industry landscape. A collaborative attitude, with demonstrated enthusiasm for teamwork, with a history of effectively collaborating across departments, sharing insights, and collectively contributing to achieving broader organisational goals. Willingness to travel as required. Salary£45,000
