Clerk of Works

Salary - Between £26-£30 per hour for the Candidates (plus fees) - Dependent on experience.Location - Walthamstow, E17 3EF and Hayes, UB3 4DQHours per week - Full time, 4-6 months ContractJob IntroductionAbout the role:Clerk of Works for a Fire Door and Compartmentation Project, The project will cover two of our sites, Walthamstow, and Hayes.We require someone with experience in fire safety works and for a duration of around 4-6 months (until September) with a possibility of an extension. The person would be responsible for inspecting the works for quality as well as monitoring all H&S issues. They may also be asked to undertake additional duties within this project as well as others.We would expect that the person undertaking this work would meet the competency requirement through a mixture of formal qualifications and suitable experience. We would likely expect them to have a surveying / technical qualification, and ideally a good background and or qualifications in fire safety works, and extensive experience of working on major works projects, contract processes and H&S.
