Cleaning Supervisor

Mobile Cleaning Supervisor - Covering Reading/Sussex/Thames Valley - Temporary Contract

Contract Type: Temporary (Full Time)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Reading, Thames Valley, and Surrounding Areas
Hourly Rate: �12.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate cleaning teams across various sites in Reading, Thames Valley, and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards and within the specified time frames.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain service excellence.
  • Train and support cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Liaise with clients to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A valid basic DBS (essential)
  • A full driver's license (essential)
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry (essential)
  • Flexibility to travel across different locations within the region.
  • Experience of industry/public cleaning services (essential)
  • Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential)
  • COSHH Knowledge (desirable)
  • Able to instruct others on the use of cleaning materials and equipment
  • Have an understanding of basic health and safety principles
  • Able to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent specified standard of cleaning
  • Able to organise cleaning staff to meet work schedules
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Work as a team player and pass on knowledge to others
