Position Title: Clay Modeling Consultant

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Woking, Surrey

Essential Criteria:

• Work on client site full time
• Supercar experience
• 3+ year's clay modelling experience in a professional automotive design studio
• Schooling, training or engagement in 3D art related to forms, shapes and surfaces required
• Demonstrated aptitude to translate 2D models to 3D sculptures
• Ability to read line drawings, perform basic math calculations, operate shop machinery
• Excellent spatial perception, hand/eye coordination and dexterity
• Ability to stand for long durations of time in addition to stooping, bending and reaching regularly and lifting up to 30lbs.

Nice to Have Criteria:

• Participate in the design process and support in realising the designer's ideas developing physical models both Interior and Exterior.
• Support the paint shop and prepare the models for paint
• Work with existing projects and as well with new project exterior/interior models
• Developing different types of models, colour, trim bucks, and show models.
• Prepare models for milling and pain
