Classroom Assistant

Milk Education are working with a primary school in Newcastle to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Classroom Assistant who can add value to their pupils.

You will be working Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30.

Classroom Assistant duties:

� Provide pupils with encouragement, support and comfort

� Contribute to a safe, positive atmosphere that helps children learn and develop

� Playing a major role in the safeguarding and welfare of the pupils

� Support teachers with general day to day class activities

Classroom Assistant requirements:

� An understanding of strategies required to form strong working relationships with young people

� Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults in the last 2 years

� Sensitive to the varying needs of young people and individuals

� Genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student
