Dunbar Education is proud to represent our client, a secondary alternative provision, in the search for a dedicated and compassionate Class Teacher for SEMH Nurture School in High Wycombe. This specialized school provides tailored education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for their learning and development.
About the Role:
Teaching All Subjects: The selected candidate will deliver lessons across the curriculum to small classes, with a maximum class size of 8 children.
Supportive Environment: The school fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere among staff, ensuring that every student receives the care and guidance they require to thrive.
Flexibility: The position is open to candidates with either primary or secondary teaching backgrounds. While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, candidates with significant teaching experience will also be considered.
Full-time or Part-time: The school offers flexibility in terms of working hours, with opportunities for 0.6, 0.8, or full-time positions to suit the candidate's preferences.
Immediate Availability: The position is immediately available to cover absence, with the potential for a permanent contract later on based on performance and fit.
Pay Scale: The salary will be paid according to the MPS/UPS scale, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience, whether qualified or unqualified.
