Our client, a country-wide plant and machinery hire company is looking for a new driver to join their Aberdeen operations in an ongoing role. There will be opportunities for permanent placements for the right candidate.

Shift  - Mon - Fri 7:00 - 15:30hrs - £26000+

Shift pattern and available overtime rates:

• Mon - Fri - 07:00 – 15:30 - after 45hrs over time at time and half.


• Sat's 07:00 - 12 noon - time and half, after that over time at double time. 


• Sun's shfit - double time.

Essential Requirements:

• 7.5 T licence or Class 2


• Valid CPC


• Taco card

Job Details:

• Delivering/collecting toilets at customer sites.


• Carrying out regular servicing of site toilets.


• Ensuring all necessary Company paperwork is completed at point of collection.


• Driving company vehicles in a safe, courteous and responsible manner.


• Operating all lifting equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with all Company Safety Directives.


• Carrying out daily checks of vehicle and any lifting/holding equipment (including straps and chains,) recording any defects and reporting them to the Team Leader/Divisional/Depot/Fleet Manager.

 General:

• Complying with Company Policies and Procedures.


• Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and timely manner without risk to yourself and others.


• Maintaining a safe and hazard free work area be it on customer site or within Nixon Hire premises.


• Checking company vehicles before use and driving in a safe and courteous manner, along with timely reporting of any vehicle defects.


• Reporting any accidents (person, property or vehicles.)


• Adhere to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality processes at all times.


• Carrying out any other duties as requested by immediate line manager or Director.
