Class 2 driver

StaffCo Direct acting as a recruitment agency, is actively recruiting for Class 2 Drivers based in Penrith.

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operations.

The job:

• Store Deliveries
• Tuesday - Friday (Apply online only) starts
• Block booked ongoing work
• 40+ a week
• local runs / deliveries.
• Multi drop and breaking down loads.
• Up to 25 drops in all vehicles bar.
• Deliveries are mainly on the same street / site so drivers could have up to 8 drops at the same post coded location.
• You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and to represent the client and StaffCo to a high standard at all times.
• Temp to Perm opportunity

Requirements:

• HGV class 2 driver - Minimum 6 months on licence,
• Minimum 6 months of HGV Class 2 driving experience,
• Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO,
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) for insurance purposes,
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential,
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday Days - £17.15ph
 (*includes optional 12.07% Holiday Pay*)
