Class 2 driver, Refuse truck, Mintlaw

Driver Hire are currently looking for multiple Class 2 drivers for ongoing work driving refuse lorries for our client, based in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire.

The duties will include:

• Collecting domestic and commercial waste around Aberdeenshire areas in a Class 2 vehicle.


• Help with loading as and when required to assist the crew in completing all work on time and in a safe and controlled manner


• Working in a team of 2/3 people.

Skills / Qualifications needed:

• Experience driving Class 2 (HGV) vehicles.


• Class 2 HGV Licence (CAT C) an in-date CPC and Digi-Tacho


• No more than 6 points for insurance purposes.


• Good communication skills


• Good area knowledge of the local area


• Working as part of a team.

Rate of pay is��13.27p/h�- paid PAYE�through PayStream (Driver Hire Contracting)

Alternatively you can choose to have your holiday pay paid out as you earn it!�(PAYE�advanced) Rate of pay with this method is��14.87p/h

Either way you are paid weekly on a Friday, following the week you worked.

Working hours: Mon-Thu, 7am - 16:45pm daily. Total hours each week are 37.5h although occasional overtime might be available as well.

This is regular ongoing work with the possibility of a permanent Full time job with our client.
