Day to Day Duties
Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Trunking along major traffic routes
Planning/confirming of delivery routes to ensure optimum efficiency
Ensuring all goods to be transported are safe and secure
Supervision of loading and unloading of goods
The coordination and communication with customers
Conducting of regular walk around inspections to ensure regulation compliance
Communicating with customers and answering questions in a polite manner
Essential Skills
Hold valid UK CE Licence
No more than six points for minor infringements and no major endorsements
Valid Driver CPC & Digi Card
At least one year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles on UK Roads
Impeccable communication skills
Professional and tidy appearance
