Working hours:35 hours per week, Monday to FridayDuration:PermanentLocation: Home based with some travel to LondonJob ref: 202562About the role Ecclesiastical Insurance, who are proudly part ofBenefact Groupare looking for a Claims Handler or Senior Claims Handlerto join their High Net Worth team. The role isbe home-based with a requirement to travel to the London office two days per week.Within Claims, we take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience and believe our customers are entitled to the highest standards in service, courtesy and professionalism. Working within an experienced and professional team, you will be expected to take ownership of your own caseload and in addition, you must have an extremely strong team ethic, which is essential for upholding our reputation for excellence that stands us apart within the industryJoining our rapidly expanding and innovative Group presents a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and become an integral part of an inclusive, purpose-led organisation.Key responsibilities Technically manage an interesting and varied caseload of Property Claims up to a value of £100,000 per claim. (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Delivery of exceptional customer experience measured by customer experience audits.
Manage complex claims within your authority whilst working in line with the claims and technical handling guides and through application of conversation management skills.
Proactively handle all allocated High Net Worth claims within our Service Level Agreements, effectively communicating with all key stakeholders from initial notification through to final settlement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with our brokers.
Monitoring, maintaining and developing personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development as well as on going desk training. Knowledge, skills and experience Previous property claims handling experience is essential
High Net Worth claims handling experience is desirable Strong negotiation skills both verbal and written
The ability to assimilate and comprehend information
Track record of delivering excellence
Ability to handle high call volumes effectively
Good attention to detail
A clear appreciation of the need for exceptional standards of customer service
Energy, focus and an interest in personal development
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly
