Panoramic Associates are working with a council in Suffolk in the search for a Civil Engineering Surveyor who will lead civil engineering projects for the clients housing and corporate assets, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify civil engineering investment needs and plan projects accordingly.
  • Manage project lifecycle following RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure value for money.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and consultants for project delivery.
  • Contribute to corporate and asset strategies.
  • Prepare quarterly reports on project progress and budget.
  • Procure contracts adhering to organizational policies.
  • Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
  • Address complaints and inquiries in accordance with policies.
  • Support IT systems development and implementation.
  • Keep informed of organizational changes and industry developments.
  • Assist in staff training and attend Health & Safety meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
