Parking Civil Enforcement Officer - Local Authority

Location: SM4 5DX
Start date: ASAP
Contract duration: 6+ months
Working hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 35 hours p/w
Pay rate: �18.04 p/h

Duties will include:

• To issue Penalty Charge Notices as appropriate for contravention of parking, loading and waiting regulations using handheld computer terminals or hand written tickets as required. To ensure computer equipment and printers are correctly used.
• To issue leaflets or warning notices to parked vehicles as required.
• To maintain accurate records of enforcement action taken.

Skills and experience:

• Enforcement of permitted parking places.
• Knowledge of current Road Traffic Legislation in respect of parking.
• The ability to remain polite with members of the public whilst firmly enforcing waiting and loading regulations.
