Hybrid Cisco Project Support & TAC EngineerAre you looking for an opportunity to move from the Technical Support desk into the Projects team?Very successful Managed Service Provider and Cisco Gold Partner are looking for a Cisco TAC Engineer who is looking to make the Step into the Projects team.It is envisaged that you are currently working for an MSP in a 2nd/3rdLine capacity troubleshooting external client’s networks.It is essential that you have solid hands on commercial experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, certified to CCNA/CCNP.You will work with Project Delivery Engineers a number of which are CCIE’s who will guide and develop you in the world of Project Engineering including Wireless LAN Surveys.When you are not out on Projects you will be based in the Cisco TAC.The role will cover Cisco R&Swith additional Security/Firewall responsibilities with the opportunity to work across the Cisco portfolio covering Voice/IPT/UC, Wireless LAN, Data Centre and Contact Centre.Experience:It is envisaged that the successful Engineer will have previously worked for a Systems Integrator and Cisco partner in at least a 2nd line capacity with the experience and ability to troubleshoot Enterprise Networks. You must have hands on experience of Cisco Routing and switching and ideally Security/Firewalls (ASA, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto etc) any specialisation such as IPT / UC, WLAN, Data Centre or Contact Centre would be an advantage as would holding Cisco certificationssuch as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Engineers that have experience of working for Systems Integrators in a similar capacity troubleshooting multiple client networks to strict SLA’s would be favoured highly.Reward:This company invests heavily in their staff with lots of training for their Engineers all funded by them.
