Due to their increased success & growth plans, I am seeking a Cinema Manager at Deputy, Assistant or Duty Manager level with experience of running a cinema operation (ideally with some food & drink offering) to assist in running their amazing venue based in the western Lakes.The operations themselves are exciting and provide luxury cinema screenings & events alongside a great quality hot & cold food offering with an array of delicious coffees, beers, wines & cocktails. They attract customers from all walks of life and are popular with individuals, groups and families alike as well as providing a great venue for corporate events & presentations with private hire available. The sites are unique in design with space used to its maximum effect and are light and airy with eye-catching cool décor & are great venues to chill & watch your favourite film or the screening of a live theatre productions.My client is at the top of their game and are extremely passionate & knowledgeable of their market and audience. They are constantly innovative, looking for new ideas and ways to improve & expand their offering and stay ahead of the market.The operations are a cross of arthouse versus multiplex with state-of-the-art technology within a quality unique environment.The company have a small successful group of sites across the UK with further operations planned in the future.The Role:As Deputy/Assistant Manager we are looking for a strong candidate who is hands-on, but is also forward-thinking & passionate about film with the ability to assist in the running of a multi-faceted business like it's their own.The successful candidate will have ideally worked within a cinema or similar environment & will be used to working with processes, checks & detail.The company actively promote a very entrepreneurial culture and the successful candidate will be able to bring ideas to the table.As Cinema Manager you will be accountable for assisting in all aspects of the business, leading & managing your teams to ensure that the operation performs to the highest standards so that guests receive an amazing guest experience. You will also need strong team management and BOH skills & a passion for film & cinemas with the ability to keep on top of hospitality & cinema trends, footfall and assist in driving sales into the business, working closely with the wider community to make strong connections with businesses, schools, clubs & groups to drive business into the venue & develop strong local relationships.Requirements:· A proven track record of success working within cinema industry with some kind of food & drink offering and a real passion for hospitality & providing a great guest experience.· The ability to assist in driving business, maximising sales opportunities, developing the guest experience & growing both individual business and corporate/private hire· Experience of working as a Deputy/Cinema Manager or Assistant Manager or Strong Duty Manager running large multi-faceted venues with some kind of food & drink offering.· Proven track record of recruiting, managing, motivating & developing great teams with a focus on succession planning, developing talent from within. Strong interpersonal skills - getting the best out of people to provide the highest standards of service at all times with a focus on ensuring both guest and team satisfaction.· Great presentation & attention to detail.Result driven - focused on assisting in driving operational & financial performance - budgeting/forecasting, payroll, stock, cash management & controllable costs.
