Join Our Team as a Registered Manager in Leyland, Lancashire!



Salary: �50,000 per annum

Home: 2-3 bed EBD

Location:�Leyland

Qualifications and Experience:




  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent

  • Diploma 5 in Leadership & Management Children & Young People (or willing to work towards)

  • Considerable managment experience working with young people in a residential setting

  • Proven management experience at a senior level

  • Budget management skills and experience

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills



Key Responsibilities:




  • Oversee all staff and operations within the home, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations

  • Manage labour costs, staffing structures, and rotas to meet children's needs and budget requirements

  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for behaviour management

  • Ensure effective delivery of individual care plans and high standards of care

  • Promote an open culture where children feel heard and supported

  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations

  • Support staff development and provide supervision as needed

  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies

  • Safeguard the health and well-being of children and promote anti-discriminatory practice



Other Requirements:




  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal office hours and be on call

  • Full driving license and willingness to provide cover to other homes when needed
