My client is looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only) (On Call Responsibilities included)
The successful applicant with be responsible for the team including:
* Deputy Manager
* Senior Support Workers
* Support Workers
Purpose of the role:
* To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children & young people to thrive
* To assume responsibility for the leadership, management and development of a registered children’s home in line with the organisation’s ethos, purpose & values, and with adherence to Ofsted regulations
* To have excellent knowledge of all relevant regulations and legislations and ensure that the service remains compliant at all times with all legislative and regulatory requirements
* To assume all of the responsibilities associated with the role of the Registered Service Manager
* To be an active participant of the management team ensuring that the organisation achieves its aims and a positive culture is created in which people can live and work
* To positively and creatively contribute to the development of an environment in which all individuals are encouraged to recognise their potential
* To contribute positively to the ongoing development of the organisation as it strives to maintain practice at the forefront of creative and flexible residential child care and education services
Minimum Criteria:
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in Management and leadership Relevant qualifications in Childcare
* Be willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare if not already obtained is essential
* Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for residential childcare (England)
* Minimum 2 years experience in Childcare
* Minimum 2 years experience in Management
