Childrens Home Registered Manager

Are you a PASSIONATE and DRIVEN Childrens Home Registered Manager looking for a new opportunity in a 3 bed home for children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) within an up and coming organisation that practices therapeutic parenting? Or are you an AMBITIOUS children's home deputy manager looking to step into your first Registered Manager role within a residential home currently rated "outstanding" in the Cannock area of Staffordshire?

Delivering the highest levels of care and support to the young people aged between 7 and 18 through the provision of leadership, direction, and management of the residential children's service, you will have the children and quality at the heart of your values, and the vision to inspire and support the young people to lead happy and successful lives.

The organisation enables their staff to support the children and young people using the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) principle which underpins the PACE model of therapeutic parenting.

With a small, but steadily growing cluster of homes in the Staffordshire area, the close knit management team work together to ensure the children really do get their needs met in a homely and safe environment. The organisation offers you autonomy to run the home as you see fit, and most importantly a genuine understanding of the importance of work-life balance, flexibility and the general well-being of all employees.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience leading within a residential home for children & young people with learning disabilities and or challenging behaviours.

Role: Childrens Home Registered Manager

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 plus performance related bonuses

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire (WS11 postcode)

Hours: Full-Time

Requirements:

• NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)

• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent

• Experience working within a Deputy or Childrens Home Registered Manager's position

• Experience in a residential children's home environment
• Full UK driving licence
