Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Children’s Centre Team Leader to work full time based in a Children’s home in Haringey.The salary for this permanent Team Leader job is up to £40,614Main Duties:
Manage the referral and admission of young people into the centreAllocate work and review the cases ensuring that statutory requirements, departmental policy and Ofsted standards, and administrative procedures are followedBuild and supervise a dynamic team of people to effectively manage and respond to this changeThis includes assisting the induction and training of new staff as well as supervising and performance monitoringAssisting the Deputy Home Manager and Registered Manager in organising and managing a group of staff working the Children’s homeAssisting with managing all administration relating to the home, ensuring all paperwork is to a high standardAttend and participate in all meetings and training as required including supervising, appraisals, team meetings and young people reviewWorking with the young people, their family where appropriate and staff, to plan and implement individual plansTaking into account the needs, choices and wishes of the young people in the creation of the plan to promote independence and reaching full potentialReview and evaluate plans regularly and amend as appropriateEnsure that young people and their families are appropriately informed and involved about aspects of their life within the home and local communitySupport young people through the transition process and assist them ito settle in their new homesAssess their skills and needs as appropriate following a referral
Requirements of this job:
Level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ or equivalentKnowledge and understanding of quality care standards, Children Act 1989, and revised Children’s Home Regulation 2015Experience of leading and inspiring a staff teamAbility to show leadership skillsExperience of managing budgetsDirect involvement in Ofsted inspections
