Childcare and Health and Social Care Teacher

Are you passionate about enhancing young peoples careers? The School of Health Education and Care are looking for lecturers who will inspire our learners to achieve their full potential during their time at West Herts College.
The right candidates will plan, deliver, and assess courses at levels 1, 2, and 3, as well as have the opportunity to deliver across our new and exciting T-Level programs in both Health (supporting Adult Nursing) and Childcare (Early Years and Teaching Assistant Pathways).
Learners complete invaluable work experience placements as part of their study programme, which will launch them into a career in the Health or Childcare sectors with skills and experiences that align with their chosen career path.
The successful candidates will need to have the essential skills required in Health and Social Care, and or Childcare. They will ideally have experience working with young people or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting; Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care, Childcare or both as well as relevant vocational experience. A teaching qualification would be advantageous; however, we would offer full teacher training to the successful candidates.
