Flexible working is something that is encouraged with this council and there won’t be set days you will need to attend the office, this is something that will be left up to you and you will be trusted by management to make your own decisions about your schedule and organize this in a way that suits you and your working life. This council has been rated OUTSANDING by OFSTED and has excellent retention rates and a long standing management team.

In terms of the team, the teams are split into several teams but you will be part of a smaller child protection team and have direct contact with the management to help with any complex cases you may be having and to help support you through the tougher times. You will also find a supportive team environment which is not always easy to find and you will notice a difference early on.
There are immediate starts available. However not to worry, this council will wait up to 6 weeks for the right person. You can also expect a very competitive pay rate of £43 per hour! As they are rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the training and support this council offers is brilliant, so you are able to continuously develop as a practitioner, while providing the best care to all children and families involved in the service.
As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
