They have a global client base across multiple industries with a focus on Financial Services & Fintech, Insurance & Insurtech, e-Commerce, and iGaming.The RoleWe are seeking an innovative, forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect andoversee the company’s technology strategy and roadmap for our evolution into a SaaS-based productoffering. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader with a strong blend of technical, strategic,and commercial skills to guide the company through a critical stage of technological evolutionand product development.As CTO, you will report directly to the CEO and play a central role in the company’s growth andtechnological advancement. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of technology,ensuring alignment with our business goals and delivering exceptional value to our global clientbase through innovative and stable products.Key ResponsibilitiesVisionary Leadership across Technology Departments:· Cultivate a visionary approach to leading the technology departments, includingSoftware Development, QA, and Platform Infrastructure, anchoring them to thestrategic technological architecture and the company’s product vision.· Champion the integration of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, guidingdepartments towards delivering superior software solutions that resonate withproduct objectives and customer needs.· In this capacity, the CTO ensures the alignment of departmental activities with thetechnological blueprint, facilitating collaboration and innovation across teams torealise the vision for high-quality, reliable software products.Architectural Oversight of Infrastructure and Information Security:Architect a future-proof strategy for infrastructure and information security thatcomplements the SaaS product's vision, empowering the CISO and the Head ofCloud Architecture and Operations with a clear framework to execute and adviseon.Lead the charge in securing and maintaining ISO certifications, showcasing theirSolutions' dedication to security and compliance while empowering the CISO andthe Head of Cloud Architecture and Operations to operationalise these standards.Define the strategic direction for the organisation's security frameworks,empowering the CISO and the Head of Cloud Architecture and Operations and theirteams to implement and refine these practices, ensuring the CTO's vision is realisedthrough effective execution and guidance.Leading Product Evolution and Technology Innovation:· Incorporating Feedback into Tech Development: Ensure close collaborationbetween technology and product teams to swiftly incorporate customer feedbackinto technological enhancements. Motivate the development team to have a strongcustomer / product centric focus.· Enhancing Products with Tech Leadership: Directly tie technological decisions tothe needs identified by the Product Department. Make sure that every tech solutionor enhancement introduced is in response to product development goals, ensuringthat our technology is always the best fit for our products’ evolution.· Empowering Clients with Customisation: Provide clients the tools to easilycustomise the company’s Platform, aligning with feedback and requirements gatheredby the Product Department. This empowers clients to adapt our solutions to theirneeds, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.· Adopting Advanced Technologies: Lead the adoption of AI and user-friendlydevelopment tools to keep the company’s Solutions at the industry forefront. Ensure thesetechnologies not only improve internal processes but also directly support theproduct enhancements defined by the Product Department, maintaining our· Championing Innovation and Leadership: Drive the organisation to integratecutting-edge technology with product development insights. Foster a culture weretechnological innovation is guided by product needs and customer feedback,positioning their Solutions as a fintech leader through responsiveness andYour Personal Skills and AttributesBachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.change management, communication, and collaborative working skills.10+ years of leading and managing Software Development and cloud-hosting teams,in multiple locations; with project management, resource management, andresources management capabilities.10+ years' experience running medium to large / complex software development projectsmultiple dependencies. Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver againstdeadlines.Strong experience in a range of development methodologies.
