Founding Engineer / CTO – $125k – $180k – Remote Plexus has partnered with an innovative start-up that is poised to revolutionise the stable coin space, offering yield to emerging target markets with unstable currencies. They are looking for a founding engineer / CTO to take the some weight off the CEO’s hands to that has a start-up mentality, is driven and can hit the ground running. Responsibilities: Lead and take ownership of the platforms core systems using Rust Manage a growing team of engineers and oversee their technical growth Collaborate closely with the core team and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Contribute to the recruitment process by identifying and hiring top engineering talent Requirements: Ideally European based but open to East coast and APAC too 1+ year of Rust experience or the willingness to learn quickly (professional experience is preferred) Familiarity and knowledge of blockchain technology and fundamentals Ability to manage and mentor a small team while being hands-on and dynamic Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment Knowledge of asset management/banking/financial products Benefits: Fully remote work Competitive salary ranging from $125k-$180k with options potentially available ranging from 0.1% to 1.5% Benefits package dependant on location Ability to receive compensation in cryptocurrency if desired GatedTalent consolidates jobs from a variety of sources.
