This role is instrumental in shaping a long-haul technology investment, fortifying PHMG's infrastructure to underpin our subsequent growth phase.Drawing on your pragmatic approach and acumen in nascent technologies, you will discern and harness both challenges and opportunities within our business framework. Your role will encompass delivering well-considered proposals and advocating for strategic directions at the executive review.Key prerequisites include a stellar track record in spearheading transformative technology programs within a dynamic commercial organisation, which will be integral in crafting and actualising a strategic framework attuned to PHMG's present and prospective necessities.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Technology Planning and Roadmapping:Collaborate with cross-functional and senior stakeholders to bring together requirements, orchestrate technology initiatives, and spearhead innovation.Actively investigate and bring forth novel technological breakthroughs, especially in AI and ML, to develop inventive products and elevate business-wide operational efficacy.Undertake a meticulous appraisal of our cybersecurity measures and protocols, pinpointing avenues for enhancement and capital. Ascertain the necessity for industry accreditation and articulate compelling business propositions and well-substantiated advisories to the board.Define and deliver a technology trajectory that resonates with the company's strategic and commercial aspirations.Technology Leadership:Render technical leadership and mentorship to the Software Development and ICT cohorts, ensuring alignment with industry best practice and standards.Detect and bridge competencies and skill gaps within these teams, seizing recruitment prospects and development plans to forge a robust organisational design.Model the long-term departmental architecture and scale, reflecting external best practices and imparting expertise to the business.Architecture and Governance:Head the perpetuation of our digital transformation to guarantee optimal system configurations, customisations, and integrations with adjacent systems.Govern the fabrication of tailored applications, workflows, and processes to fulfil distinct business requisites.Instil and mandate quality assurance protocols to assure the integrity, security, and dependability of our technology ecosystem.Engineer and perform regular systems audits and performance surveillance to diagnose and rectify issues expeditiously.Guarantee the deployment of a transparent change management and stakeholder communication strategy.Cloud Transition:Orchestrate the strategic shift of technical infrastructure from on-premise solutions to cloud-based frameworks, ensuring fluid migration and minimal disruption.Empower the technology teams to dynamically scale resources and exploit emergent technologies.Instil a heightened resilience within cloud platforms, ensuring pivotal data and applications remain within accessible.Design and test business continuity plans to minimise interruption and risk exposure.Candidate Profile:Demonstrable proficiency in steering cross-functional technology divisions and pioneering technological undertakings across both departmental and broader business ecosystems.A solid technical foundation in scaling service-oriented landscapes.A record of CRM implementation achievements (Salesforce preferred).The acumen to challenge conventional wisdom and undertake measured risks to advance technological innovation and company revenue.A history of delivering impactful and well-articulated technical leadership to senior/board echelons.An intimate understanding of the R&D and innovation funding domain, with a record of procuring significant funds for intricate, multi-stakeholder initiatives.Documented experience as a technological frontrunner with an emphasis on CRM implementation and optimisation, inclusive of large-scale deployments and integration with other enterprise systems.Prior experience in a Private Equity backed business is seen as beneficial.
