We're Hiring: Chief Race Car Systems Engineer

A prominent player in the motorsport and automotive industry is looking for an experienced Chief Race Car Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based at a prestigious facility known for its top-tier events and championships, this role offers the unique opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in both existing and new ventures.

What Will You Do?

• Lead the specification, procurement, application, and maintenance of critical electronic, electro-mechanical, and electrical systems across various championships and performance fleets.
• Collaborate on vehicle and circuit-based projects from the early stages, ensuring seamless integration of all system functionalities.
• Oversee the development and integration of all electronic and electrical components within our race and performance vehicles.
• Manage and mentor a dedicated team of specialists in electrical engineering.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting at GB3 & GB4 race events.

Who Are We Looking For?

• An enthusiastic professional with a degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Vehicle Systems Engineering.
• Extensive experience with race or high-performance automotive systems, familiar with leading technologies such as Cosworth Electronics, MoTeC, AIM Technologies, and Magneti Marelli.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to operate under the unique pressures of race environments.
• Excellent project management capabilities, ensuring all components meet our rigorous standards for reliability and performance.
• Availability for regular weekend work and international travel, with the ability to freely travel in and out of the UK.
