You will work with the executive team to identify opportunities for innovation, analyse market trends, and ensure that their technology is aligned with the core business objectives. You will be responsible for leading a team of chemists and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our portfolio.Person’s specificationsPhD in STEM.More than 7 years of experience in one (or more) of the following fields: material science, physics, mineralogy, construction, concrete technology, concrete chemistry, civil engineering, CO2 capture and utilisation or recycling technologies.Experience in the characterisation, synthesis and modification of functional materials.More than 7 years of proven experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary R&D teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering R&D projects on time and within budget.Extensive experience leading independent research, ability to design and conduct research addressing fundamental scientific questionsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Significant experience in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
