My client, a pharmaceutical company with plans for rapid growth, are recruiting a Chief People Officer to help develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's mission, values, and business objectives. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and driving employee engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive human resources strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Design and implement employee development and training programs to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and career development planning.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to human resources management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive organizational change and transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive employee relations and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Strong ethical values and commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
