Job DescriptionOur mission is to power the world’s virtual sales conversations and our next milestone in that journey is to create a virtual sales advisor that performs better than a human sales advisor. We're stretching ourselves into new and exciting areas and navigating change at pace. We are now looking for a Chief People and Culture Officer to join the leadership team and help us to evolve to achieve that mission.We’re incredibly proud of the culture that we’ve created together and we want to nurture that as we scale. We have now reached the size where we need an experienced people leader to own our people strategy, define our employee experience, embed right sized processes and manage change - allowing us to make this important transition culturally as a team of high performers, living our values and growing together.Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will hold the following accountabilities:Strategic People Leadership:Develop and execute a people strategy aligned to business goalsLead, grow and develop the people teamOwn the people budget - ensuring the most effective use of investmentDefine our Employee Experience and develop and implement the policies, procedures, and programmes that deliver on itTalent Acquisition and Management:Oversee the talent acquisition functionImplement strategies for attracting and retaining exceptional peopleOversee a hiring process that ensures that new starters meet the core needs of the business at that moment in timeEmployee Engagement and Development:Lead the design and implementation of development and training programmes - ensuring we develop our team at all levelsFoster career growth and advancement opportunitiesMeasuring employee engagement to facilitate continual optimisationPerformance Management:Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation processesDrive a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvementImplement a rewards and recognition programme that aligns with company valuesCompensation and Benefits:Implement a pay review process in line with our valuesDesign salary benchmarking, compensation programmes and benefitsEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all functionsDevelop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impactPromote a culture of belonging and fairness for all employeesEmployee Relations and Compliance:Promote effective employee relations and conflict resolutionEnsure HR policies and practices are in compliance with relevant labour lawsAddress employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related mattersSkills & ExperienceExtensive people and culture leadership experience in a fast moving SaaS businessKnow how to define and lead a best in class Employee ExperienceExpert communicator with proven experience leading internal communications through changeExceptional leadership skills with ability to develop those skills in othersExperienced in building and owning people strategies from the ground up and right sizing for our stage of growth - c. 100Diversity is incredibly important to us.
