Chief Operations Officer

Cure Talent are delighted to be partnered with an exciting Diagnostics company, specialising in Gastrointestinal Cancer, who, due to their continued growth, have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Operations Officer to join them.

As the new Chief Operations Officer, you will oversee and optimise all operational aspects of the company, working closely with a cross functional team of exceptional professionals to drive scientific discoveries and aiding in the commercialisation of their product.

We are looking for an experienced Operational Professional with a proven background in In Vitro Diagnostics or Medical Devices. You will be a strong leader with in-depth and detailed knowledge of IVDR and Global Regulations. A proven track-record in successful product development and commercialisation is essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic plans to align with the vision, mission and objectives of the company.


• Ensure operational excellence and efficiency across all business functions, developing and implementing operational policies, procedures and systems.


• Oversee the day-to-day operations, including Regulatory Compliance, QA, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.


• Drive Product Development from concept to commercialisation by coordinating with internal teams.


• Build and develop high performing teams across the organisation, including QARA

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.


• Previous experience in the IVD or Medical Device Industries.


• Proven success in Operational Management and Product Development of IVD or Medical Device products.


• Detailed knowledge and experience of IVDR and FDA regulations


• Experience in Leading & Managing Manufacturing Operations, QMS and Supply Chain
