Aon's recruitment and selection policy ensures the best possible skill mix of colleagues and the highest quality candidates are appointed using objective job-related criteria.About the RoleYour impact as a Chief Operating Officer – Captives:Collaborating with ACIM leadership and evaluating industry trends to define multi-year strategies comprised of near- and long-term growth, efficiency, and risk prioritiesAdvocating for and aligning ACIM priorities across relevant Aon functions including Global Operations, IT, Finance, and RegionsEvaluating and redesigning operating models, technology strategy, and governance to meet the needs of ACIM and clientsSupporting the ACIM Leadership Team in strategic and annual business planning, quarterly and monthly business reviews, and investment prioritizationProgram management and oversight of critical initiatives and projects, and personal leadership of a select fewProactively recommending and driving continuous operational business improvement including margin expansion and growthLiaising across Aon to bring standard methodologies to bear for ACIM and to build a culture of constant operational improvementResponsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.About youYour knowledge and expertise:Proven experience at development and execution of global critical initiatives focussed on delivering growthExtensive project management experience across global businessesExperience in developing and completing long term strategic plans and driving growthExperience with collaborating with HR, Finance, Legal, IT and able to flexible manage and leverage resources in a complex global matrix structureExperience driving consensus among cross-functional, global, teamsValidated problem-solving ability using data and visuals to support a hypothesisTechnical knowledge of captives, insurance management, and key client deliverables preferredStrong verbal and written skills, presentation skills and ability to quickly build trust with senior leadersA commercial mind-set with the ability to balance strategic needs with delivering operational objectivesSalary and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary and bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday.
