The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – EMEA will have experience and a consistent track record of driving growth and revenue aligned to commercial priorities, leading a marketing program and team, and delivering demand generation through integrated marketing programs.
The CMO – EMEA reports into the CMO – Growth Marketing, with helix reporting relationships into the CEO and CCO of EMEA and serves as an active member of the EMEA Regional Business Leadership Team (LT). This person will be a strategic advisor and business partner to the CEO, CCO and Regional Solution Line Leaders, meeting with them regularly to discuss plans and results to drive growth and revenue for the EMEA region. As a member of the EMEA LT, the CMO will also partner with other functional leaders, including the CFO, COO and CPO.
The CMO takes the business strategy and translates it into a marketing strategy for the region, aligned to firm-wide and regional commercial priorities. The CMO leads a large team of Growth Marketing colleagues across the region who are focused on driving demand and growth, Aon United, via the Risk Buyer, HR/People Buyer and Finance Buyer, as well as through our sub-regions and countries. This includes understanding the client segments, key industries, country requirements, in addition to tailoring the buyer journey and aligning relevant solutions to deliver client centric, integrated evergreen marketing programs that drive demand and pipeline.
This CMO will work closely with our Risk Capital and Human Capital Marketing teams and with colleagues across our Marketing & Communications Centres of Excellence: Client Experience (Events, Partnerships and Creative), Communications, Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations to deliver a globally aligned and consistent Aon United program that drives Aon’s overall market position and a consistent and integrated client experience.
