Chief Legal Officer (CLO) – Growing Web3 Blockchain Organisation – Up to $250k - $300k (USD) p.a. – Fully Remote Working!
Are you ready to join a unique, cutting-edge Web3 Blockchain company currently at the forefront of blockchain technology and digital finance as a Chief Legal Officer with a current license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction?

Salary: Up to $250k - $300k (USD) p.a + benefits
Location: Fully remote
You will work to provide a visionary approach to legal strategy to ensure smooth sailing through the complex legal landscape of technology and digital assets. You will have extensive knowledge around token issuance, corporate governance, tax laws, and Intellectual Property tailored towards the Web3 Blockchain industry.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver expert level legal advice to ensure adherence to the highest standards of compliance and best practices.
Lead on initiatives in tax planning and corporate structuring to enhance efficiency and reduce legal risks across the business whilst staying ahead of ever-changing tax laws and regulations.
Conduct reviews of company policy, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure they align with financial reporting and Intellectual Property.
Perform in-depth legal research to advise on corporate law matters.
Act as an advisor to the SLT to provide insights on complex legal issues.
Oversee the legal department’s operations and drive chance to enhance efficiency within the team.
Key Skills:
A current license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction. Experience outside of the US in practice.
5 - 10 years of legal experience, ideally within technology, FinTech, or Blockchain.
Experience in corporate structing, tax planning, commercial negotiation, and financial reporting.
An understanding of tax laws and compliance relevant to the Blockchain sector.
A proven track record of managing multiple legal/financial initiatives.
