We are partnered with a rapidly growing green energy scale-up who are pioneering sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector, driving the public and private sector to adopt more sustainable solutions to their carbon footprint. They are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team to play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and operations of the business.
You will be responsible for leading the company through its next major funding round, collaborating closely with the existing investment committee, and ensuring the financial health and growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the company through its next major funding round, leveraging your experience and network to secure the necessary capital via debt financing.
Work closely with the investment committee to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risk effectively.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to support the company’s growth objectives.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a high-growth company, preferably within the green energy or technology sector.
Experience successfully spearheading a funding raise, with focus on debt financing.
Demonstrated success in leading businesses through major funding rounds and securing investment.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
