Job DescriptionCompany DescriptionPower Resources International Ltd is a UK company. A critical metals producer whose business is the production of high-purity oxides and refined metals. As a vertically integrated producer, we operate our own tantalum, niobium and lithium mine to supply our refinery, all located in Rwanda.Role DescriptionThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities and providing strategic financial guidance to the PRI Group and to Executive Management.Reporting to the CEO, this is a full-time on-site role at our headquarters in Kigali, Rwanda. As the CFO, you will be responsible for:Leadership and strategic direction of the Finance department;Accurate Financial Statements (IFRS) and compliance with regulatory requirements;Leading and coordinating the Business Planning function for the development of realistic financial goals for the Group;Accurate financial and related performance reporting against budgets and goals;Supporting the organisation in achieving its financial goals and objectives;Foster a climate of sound financial management throughout the Group;Manage treasury functions, risk management, and cash flow;Implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls;Mentor and lead finance team members;Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and strategic decisions;Take a leading role in investor relations activities.Minimum Qualifications and experience10+ years post-qualificationExperience of finance leadership.Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; CPA; Chartered Accountant, or Master's degree preferred.Mining industry experience would be an advantage.This is an exciting CF0/Management Team opportunity in a company that has just completed its initial capital investment phase in Rwanda for mining and refining and has now begun commercial operations.
