Head of Finance - CFO - Chief finance officer - Charity

Salary �60,000

A challenging and rewarding role available for a Head of Finance.

The Head of Finance is responsible for the implementation of strategy and objectives. You will have a background in Charities and be able to provide sound financial guidance and support to the organisation.

Monday-Friday 35 hours per week, flexi hours between 8am and 6pm Reporting and working alongside the COO you will be supported by a finance office in the day to day accounting operations.

Duties and responsibilities associated with the role of Head of Finance, CFO, Chief financial officer

- You will be responsible for the overall financial function.

- Be a key member of the Senior management team

- Financial policy's, procedures and frameworks

- Annual, monthly and financial reporting , being part of the Finance, Audit, Risk and compliance Committee.

- Manage efficient systems for capital projects

- Undertake company secretary and compliance

- Oversee the management of an efficient Payroll system (IRIS)

You will be the first point of liaison with external partners, advisors, etc (Commissioners, auditors, Inland Revenue, Customs & Excise, Bank, Insurance Brokers, investment advisors, etc) - excellent communication skills are required.

Ideally you will have worked within a Charity (ideally but we will consider other industries), managed a team and be happy to hit the ground running. This is a role where multi tasking and organisational skills will need to be on point.

ICAEW, QBE, ACCA or CIMA qualifications welcomed.
