The Opportunity:
The Financial Times #1 UK Defence Company seeks an influential Chief Engineer to lead Electronic Warfare R&D initiatives.
The Role:
As a hands-on Engineering Authority, you'll be at the forefront of steering complex embedded software projects while nurturing up-and-coming engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Additionally, you'll be crucial in managing technical aspects of multimillion-pound bids and driving business development efforts.
Required Skills/Experience:
British Born and Sole British Passport Holder
Strong technical leadership and management skills in significant engineering capacities.
Leading the development of Electronic Warfare Solutions covering various domains.
Exceptional commercial acumen managing multimillion-pound bids and business development.
Comprehensive understanding of physics in developing advanced EM/RF components.
An extensive network spanning academia, defence, suppliers, and commercial sectors.
Ability to influence MoD perspectives and translate customer needs into solutions.
Profound understanding of mathematical modelling and practical design limitations.
Strong technical background in Embedded Software C, C++ or ADA.
Proficiency in designing and validating concepts throughout the development lifecycle.
Benefits Package:
Base Salary: £80,000 - £110,000
Annual Bonus: 15%
Car/Cash Allowance: Circa £4,500
Pension: 9% (6% Company Contribution)

Annual Leave: 25 Days plus 8 UK Bank Holidays
