94435BRJob Title:Chief Data OfficerNo. of Positions:6Job Description:What’s the role?Reporting to our Group IT Chief Data Officer in our CIO office and working in close partnership with the business, you’ll lead the Data & Analytics (D&A) strategy and influence delivery to drive Value from Data (VfD) for a Shell operational organisation. You’ll be a data champion, identifying opportunities that exploit new technology, digitalization and Data and Anlaytics (D&A) and helping us to derive maximum value from data.Accountable for a data value funnel worth $100m, your challenge will be to navigate a rapidly evolving landscape and to mature some currently fragmented technology, striking the right balance between sustainability and innovation. To succeed, you’ll need to work through complex interfaces across organizational and geographic boundaries, skillfully managing senior stakeholders to bring alignment and integration across the different areas.Your remit includes:Value Funnel Support: identifying how we derive value from data (VfD) and embedding this into our strategy; making sure investments support the VfD funnel.Establishing strong data foundations: To support Digital Roadmaps (Spanning Data Governance, Data Models & Flows, Data Quality, Data Architecture)Ensuring the business function has a robust and well-working delivery engine across all opportunity types (Data Management, Information Management, Compliance Management, Management Information and Analytics.)Creating and leading a VfD natural team and making sure it’s well connected to the business.Auto req ID:94435BRCountry of Work Location:Netherlands, United KingdomCompany Description:The world faces energy challenges that are becoming more complex each day.
