Parkinson Lee Executive Search are the retained partner to a PE backed, market leading digital media services business in the appointment of a Chief Commercial Officer.

With a commercial footprint and portfolio of customers that are envied, our client has 11 offices in locations across the UK, EMEA, the US, and Asia. Plus, a customer portfolio that operates in over 165 countries, working with leading retail brands, hotel chains, and consumer businesses.

This is a newly created position, reporting into, and working closely with the CEO. The Chief Commercial Officer will take full ownership for driving all commercial aspects of the company’s operation. They will work across the entire business to create best-in-class capabilities in both internal and client facing business units and be responsible for shaping the organisation’s commercial function.

The CCO will be instrumental in developing a clear plan of change, optimising profitability, driving capex down, ensuring accurate pipeline qualification, customer relationship development, pricing, and revenue management.

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are looking for a Leader with the following background and traits:


  • Recent experience in a Commercial (Sales & Marketing) Leadership role, preferably within SAAS, Agency or related market sectors
  • Experience of sales within an ARR model
  • Experience of managing large, cross functional, multisite teams
  • Experience dealing with large, blue-chip customers and the challenges of making changes and improvements across complex customer landscapes.
  • International experience would be advantageous
  • A natural passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing individuals and building a team ethos that focuses on core business outcomes
  • The ability to create a vision that takes a business on a journey towards adopting new ways of working that focus on commercial business development and customer engagement
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills that drive positive outcomes for the wider business
  • Excellent communication, decision making, and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to identify both commercial opportunities and financial issues that could affect the business
