Meridian takes influence from international cuisines to become a melting pot of flavours in the heart of Warrington.
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team, we require somebody who is flexible to work any 7 days per week, mornings and evenings.
Day to day duties as a chef:
Setting up the kitchen prior to opening
Covering for breakfast/brunch and an evening small plates menu
Daily prep of food items with marinating, cutting and precooking foods
Cleaning the kitchen before the restaurant closes
Cleaning and sanitising the kitchen area during shift
Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift, with appropriate labels
Plating food to specification
As a Chef you will have:
Experience of cooking breakfast, brunch and small plates menu
A good understanding of food hygeine, allergens dietary requirements etc.
A passion for food and creativity in the kitchen
A desire to learn new cuisines and dishes
It would be desirable as a Chef if you:
Have a food hygeiene qualification
